| Tamiya FJ40, protective film?
I was going to start painting my FJ40 tamiya body. Tried peeling the protective film from corners, no success. For those who have painted an FJ40 tamiya body, is there a protective film? Maybe I'm peeling something thats not even there |

I'm not sure if it has one or not.Sometimes the protective films are hard to get started.Try using a piece of tape at the edge and pull.

I dont think Tamiya puts an over spray film on their Lexan bodies. I know for sure that they dont on their ON-road bodies.

if it is milky looking then it has a film on it. try useing an xacto blade on one of the side to scrap on it a little on the bottom. the corners are sometimes hard to start cause the film is stretched tighter than the sides.
