| Scale Body Paint Question
I am building my first scaler and was wondering if I should paint on the outside or inside of the body? I am using a Pro-Line Blazer body on this first attempt until I find a hard body that I like. I have never painted the outside of a lexan body but I think it would be more realistic and was just asking those that have done it before if there is anything different I should do to prep?

Spray the inside with a silver and the outside with a color of your choice, when scratched it will reveal the "metal" underneath.

If you mix in some areas with a rust color along with silver, I'd think it would look pretty realistic. I haven't done anything like that myself, but I like the idea.

On this body, the inside is painted with a combination of silver and rust. The outside was painted black then sealed with a flat clear. For a scale body, I think when you paint the inside the body is too shiney. |
