Default Hilux - True Shortbed

I've been pondering this for a while and thought I'd ask your guy's opinions. What I'm interested in is a hilux body with a correct short bed. I don't have a hilux bed in hand to measure but here's what I've come up with.

I've been told the Hilux body is actually 1/9 scale. I've found the following dimensions for 79-83 toyota pickups:

110" - Long Bed WB
101" - Short Bed WB
96" - Long Bed length
72" - Short bed length

At 1/9 Scale this would be as follows:
12.3" - Long Bed WB
11.3" - Short Bed WB
10.6" - Long Bed length
8.1" - Short bed length

Can anyone measure the dimensions (inside rail to tailgate) of a regular Hilux bed for me? I'd like to see where it falls here and what would have to be cut to get it to look like a real short bed pickup.

I did this one last year, but I was never really happy with the scale of it bobbed from the back only. I'm hoping changing the wheelbase will correct that look as well.

Sharp looking Lux, the dimensions of the Hilux body are closer to 1/9 scale. Ill try and get you that measurement
