Sheet vinyl is probably THEE best, but after that would ba a good blue or green painter's tape.

go to hobby lobby and get the sheets of paintmask material in the airbrush section. it comes in gloss and matte clear so you can trace out a design once you figure it out. but liquid mask works better than that cause it actually forms the shape of the body and you wont have any bleed through.

There's also the cheap alternative but it doesn't work as good as vinyl. Take a piece of wax paper and cover one side in masking tape, making sure to wrap the tape around one edge of the paper. Then just put it into your inkjet printer and print whatever design you'd like onto it. Cut them out and voila, cheap paint masks in whatever design you can find on the internet. Just make sure the tape wraps around to the back of the sheet on the edge you feed into the printer so the tape doesn't peel off in the printer.
