| first time painting a body in awhile...
i read that you should trim before you paint. makes sense to me cause i hate the looke of the unpainted edges... my question is does the overspray film peel off ok? or from you cutting it does it come off in little pieces so i want to pull my hair out? lol |

trim and mount before paint (if you have the chassis the body is being mounted to ov course), way easier to line up post holes when you can see through, the film comes off just fine. good luck.

i always trim and mark the body before i paint. it gives me a better idea of what lines i have to work with plus you wont have to take the chance of messing up the paint like you would if you trim afterwards. the protector skin comes off easy sometimes easier that it not being trimmed. |

I'm sure frog tape would work. I've never used that brand but I do normally use painters green masking tape.
