I was up until 4 this morning and i figured why not redo my Chevy body I have all beat up in the garage... sooo, I got out some paint and painted it up, but the orange got a little screwed up because of the temp. I was painting in. But... here she is, I'll touch up those bad spots when it gets nicer out. This was the last paintjob before I beat it all to hell. I think it turned out pretty good for how tired I was. What do you think? |

I got the body off of an rc I had when I was little... it was like 10 years ago, it was a MonsterPatrol truck made by RadioShack. and it originally had a bed but I cut that off because the wheelbase is way to short for my likings... and if you look on Ebay, one pops up every now and then. I think that when I beat it up some more I'll repaint it with a different orange and gray two tone scheme because the orange I used doesnt lay as nice as charcoal gray automotive paint. Thanks for the comments Everyone this thing has alot of mods ahead of it in the near future |

bluegroove on ebay has a lexan version of the 88-98 silvy now. I just got the 2 first pulls, (i sent him the original). I think one was from .030, and one .040, the .030 has good grill detail the other looses some. They are good looking bodies, well proportioned. They have a lund looking cab extender piece, and a spare in the bed, but, I think he is going to do another version with these blanked out when he gets a chance. http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-CHEVY-TR...item230be9f63b Last edited by junkman; 12-21-2010 at 10:43 AM. |
