until its dry... hahaha... if the body is inside a heated garage/shop or the house it shouldnt take more than like 1hour to dry.. sometimes 45mins. i could be wrong its been a while since i've painted a lexan body.

I alway used to clean the body well , do a lite coat and let it tack up
(5 - 10 mins) then hit it with another lite coat , repeat this process a couple of times. If you are pulling a mask of for a 2nd color I like to let it get about 95% cured then pull the mask off nice and slow.

ya also if you want to help the paint cure you can use a heat gun on the lowest setting or a blow dryer just move around a lot that way you don't warp the body or boil the paint just remember to do really light coats I allowed 15-20 min between coat you can also look on the can there will be a guide on it also

a blow drier on low and until you see the shine of the paint go away. Usually take about 2-3 minutes. Repeat until you hold the body up to the light and cant see through it anymore.

I usually will rub a masked area like the windshield with my finger and if it doesn't smudge, its ready for another coat. Carefull with a heatgun or blow drier, you can warp the body if it gets too hot.
