Question Suggestions pls???

I have a Lexan body. I am going to be adding l.e.d.'s to it. I am open to suggestions on how to mount them for headlights taillights etc etc. I thought about styrene? I am just afraid that they will come loose?? How would I keep them from coming out? Tape/Glue?

Thnx for your thoughts in advance.
Sabo

BTW... if anyone has pics of their l.e.d.'s mounted/installed that would really be a great ref.

below is a pic of my HPI Bronco body. The headlights are an exact fit for the body and are Mag Lite AA reflectors. The reflectors in the aux lights are from AAA mini maglite. I ordered the AA and AAA maglite reflectors from http://www.zbattery.com I ordered them and got them in 4 days...

I had to use a body hole reamer to open the hole in the reflectors for a 5mm LED to fit.

To install them I just used the headlight decals for the body on the inside for masks to leave the headlight area clear. I used shoe goo to hold the reflectors in place and to hold the LED after painting the body. It really holds up well.

Yup, Kernersville or KVegas.... You could also make some styrene buckets and use shoe goo or Goop to hold them in place and they won't go anywhere. The taillights on my Bronco were done with Styrene tubing a half inch long shoe goo'd in place with the LED's at the other end.

I actually grew up in Clemmons NC and went to West Forsyth.

The tubing is usually sold in packs and can be found where model railroad trains are. The axial light bucket set has some great ones that could be used for taillights since some mount sandwiching the lexan between two halves.
