| Chevy p/u Clod Body Restoration Long story short, this was my dads clodbuster which he bought in the early early 90s, got a lot of rough use out of it and then packed it away for close to 20 years. When I was going through all his old rc stuff I came across it and figured it would be a nice body to fix up and put on a scale crawler. Here's some pictures Removed all the bumpers, roll bars, and grill, etc.. and began by sanding down the body And here's a few pics of everything after bondo and sanding, ready to paint Ill Post more later Last edited by JohnyBeGood; 07-05-2011 at 12:33 PM. Great job on patching those cracks and holes. That was some pretty good damage there. Coat of primer and some basecoat and you'd never know.

I went with a flat olive green for the body and a flat black for the bumpers, grille, and roll bars to give it a military look. Now all that's left to do is put it back together, and I should have the pictures of that up tonight or tomorrow |

I finished assembling the body today, here's a few pictures of the finished product. The last picture of it on an scx10 isn't mounted and the wheel base needs to be adjusted but that's for another day. |
