Default Chevy p/u Clod Body Restoration

Long story short, this was my dads clodbuster which he bought in the early early 90s, got a lot of rough use out of it and then packed it away for close to 20 years. When I was going through all his old rc stuff I came across it and figured it would be a nice body to fix up and put on a scale crawler. Here's some pictures

Removed all the bumpers, roll bars, and grill, etc.. and began by sanding down the body

And here's a few pics of everything after bondo and sanding, ready to paint

Ill Post more later

Great job on patching those cracks and holes. That was some pretty good damage there. Coat of primer and some basecoat and you'd never know.

I went with a flat olive green for the body and a flat black for the bumpers, grille, and roll bars to give it a military look. Now all that's left to do is put it back together, and I should have the pictures of that up tonight or tomorrow

I finished assembling the body today, here's a few pictures of the finished product. The last picture of it on an scx10 isn't mounted and the wheel base needs to be adjusted but that's for another day.
