Exclamation

if you remove the cage you can mount any body to it usung the front shock mounting posts and the rear. i learned that the hard way. It's all in what your going for i mounted a perma bus body to mine and its pretty cool. Gonna be looking for something else here soon thought about a stadium or short course body not sure tho. The wraith W/O the cage is the best idea axial ever had its the perfect platform to mount any body made just have an idea it should work.

I like the look to that bronco with the driver in the red helmet. Looks great!

I wasn't planning on getting a wraith but after seeing some other bodies put on and my daughter thinking about doing Recon G6's I may bite the bullet. These two are pretty sweet.

Clayton, how does the back look? I'm really liking the 2dr jk or else the bronco will do as well. Which ever my daughter likes

i decided to remove the entire cage on my wraith and this is the setup i came up with the battery is more centered for less weight in the rear. i also moved the rear shock to the far rear of the chassis and put the aluminum skid plate on the back to strengthen it.

How did you cut the back off the cage, what to achieve the same kind of look but can't see how you did that cage mod.
thanks,
Vortex.

It's about time you come around. I'm thinking a blue v-dub body would look killer.

Gonna start hacking a pro line f650 body for my wraith. Gonna start by shortening the body by 2 doors..

been wondering about ideas for mine. Would love to do some Chevy Body. Removing the cage seems interesting and could open all sorts of options. Maybe even doing some sort of chop job like in a real car and just taking out some of the posts. Not sure how you would reconnect them? Maybe tap them with a rod or pin and then some epoxy? I even have seen some 1/8 scale bodes that seem to have a closer wheelbase to what the Wraith has. I'm going to need to keep doing some research but lots of ideas swirling around. Guess I am going to have to drop some $$ to buy a few bodies and experiment. All part of the hobby right?
