Clean the panels with a drop of soap in a gallon of water. Rinse really well with warm water and dry. Wipe down with wax remover/degreaser. Prime with self etching primer. Paint. |

I always have had good luck by giving the piece a couple of light coats drying in between coats of "Bull Dog" adhesion promoter, it makes paint tougher than anodizing. You can pick it up at Walmart or Auio Body stores a little bit goes a long way.

is the aluminum shiny?? if it is you'll have to sand it down a bit first because the paint wont stick to shiny alum. then if you want can add adhesion promotor then prime and paint. after the primer if you want a smooth paintjob sand down the primer a bit then paint..
