| Dinky Honco interior in a Tundra body?
Has anyone tried tp fit a Dinky R/C Honcho interior into a Tamiya Tundra body? I'm collecting parts for a build and am looking for a good start for an interior for a Tundra. I don't have the skills/patience to scratch build one. I know it won't be a direct fit, but the old HPI rally interior is too far gone to use yet again...

Figured it was a long shot. I guess I'll try to just compare dimensions and go from there. Sent from the can using Tapatalk |

I bought that interior intending to use it in a Pro-Line Comanche body. It's a great kit and should fit with a bit of trimming. You may have to lose the rear tray behind the seat, since the Honcho cab is longer than most.

I dont know about the honcho kit but I just recieved the yota kit so I could add my own seats and I'm bery confident that it will be able to work with a little effort. I am going to leave the back part off and extend the floor and see if I can stuf 4 seats it in!

Yeah, I'm anxious to know this as well. I'm in the process of building a Tundra myself and I want an interior, though it doesn't have to be k-razy scaled out... Cheers, Doc |

It would be nice if you could get someone to come up with a scale interior... I would for sure put that in my tundra truggy...

I used the hilux interior in it and it fit perfectly but the only thing is you have to extend the rear portion of it to fit the extra cab area.

I'm not sure if I'll use a Dinky or a Wraith. Both will have to be modified and neither will have a rear seat. I don't really care about not having one though, it will be a good place to hide electronics or a battery. | |

I got the dinky Gita interior and I added a back seat by using a bruiser bench seat. The problem I see is the interior is going to hit the 3 speed tranny and motor when the body is on the hi lift frame. I do know the is a way to mount the motor next to the tranny or flip the motor around. I haven't got that far into it yet, still in the planning and measuring stage. Any ideas are welcomed.
