Default Dynamic Concept body question?

I just got done painting a Rubi body. Waited over 60 hrs and shoe-glued the body spacers on. Well that slightly ruined the paint which is noticeable on the outside of the body. What are you guys using to attach the spacers to the body after paint? I have a job lined up to do a EB bronco body and don't want to ruin this one.

I used clear Shoe Goo on my RubiWraith body to glue the body spacers, front grill to the fenders and the hinges without any problems with the paint.

What kind of paint did you use? Did you use actual Shoe Goo or was it another brand of glue?

I used pectra paint and the original shoe goo. Body was inside the whole time.

I didn't glue my spacers on, I just hold them up against the body and get the screws started. The screws held the spacers in place till I dropped the body over my wraith. I had a problem with paint, but it was me using paint for plastic not polycarbonate.

Good idea I was thinking of the blue painters tape right after it happened. That stuff isn't tacky enough to peel the paint if it ever comes off.
