So what are the different ways you guys are mounting hard bodies?

magnets work great on scalers, just glue one to the inside of body and either a second on the chassis for a super strong hold, or if your running a steel chassis it will hold direct to it. Good strong earth magnets are Available at any craft store or even the depot sells them in the hardware area under picture hanging stuff. They come in about 3-4 different sizes from as small as a pinky nail up to about a quarter diameter.

I've also done body mounts placed horizontal in the rear section and Velcro up front. Or Velcro all the way around.. There's also some really strong Velcro at the craft store too, I actually tore a lexan body once trying to separate two pieces.....

Depending on what your body height is set at any or maybe none will work specific to your rig, but I'd have to say either Velcro or magnets are two of the more common on scalers. I wouldn't see them holding up as well on a crawler.
