the only down side is the weight and that is mostly a concern with center of gravity. I have been consider it for a while now especially since I saw the old Nylint explorer on eBay a while back.

the biggest problem is cost, those things are vintage now, and collectors want a mint for em.

Always watching yard sales myself, but I already have the one I want to use. It has already been abused.

I have seen a nylint bronco used before. It came out about 1/16 scale. It was cool, but they are getting expensive.

I picked up a Tonka Wagoneer for cheap. It had been painted by a 6yo and beat up pretty bad. Mounted it to my son's HPI Mini Recon. Not perfectly scale but, it was a fun project for us.

I just did a CAT dump truck body on Wraith chassis for my wife for Mother's Day. It was a plastic body though. The metal body version was too heavy to be practical for that build.
