Default hard body tech question

hi fellas. i've been throwing around an idea in my small mind & was hoping to get some insight before dropping alot of cash. i've done some custom stuff on my scorchers so i am not afraid to cut up a body, but this 1 will cost alot to have it not work. everyone has seen clod k5s & burbs, but i want to do a 73-80 style k5. i have a brand new clod body to use & i was wondering if the old tamiya blazing blazer shared the same front end dimensions? i would cut it behind the front wheels all the way across the front end, kinda like replacing the front on a 1.1 that had been wrecked. the bb bodies are few & far between, & are too expensive to waste but i have a line on 1.

i've never played with hardbodies before either but i jumped right into a crew cab ford with no previous styrene experience... all hardbodies are expensive doesnt matter what you build they cost a bit of cash but are easier to fix then a lexan body..

my crew cab ford body price right now is over 100 bucks and its half done the beauty of hardbodies is if you fack up a section you can fix it with some styrene..

Once you become hooked on styrene and painting....it's a hobby all on it's own! My best styrene work was joining a Tamiya Tundra cab and bed together for rigidity on a CC-01 chassis.
