Default i need hard body opening door ideas

I have a NB F150 hard body am would like to see it were possible to modify the doors so that they open and close. So i know there are some people on here that have done the coolest hard bodies ive ever seen so i know i might be possible. how should i hinge the doors? i want to hear everyones ideas. it would be awesome if some people that have done hard bodies could chime in and help me out.

Thanks and cant wait to hear some of your guys' ideas

Here is the body to help with inspiration. plan on having the doors open like the 1:1 extended cabs doors do.

Don't think it would be hard to do a small hinge from a craft place and magnets to keep the door closed. Unless you want to go servo opening doors on a 3rd channel.

Have a read through this thread. I did a quick how to on making proper hinges for a hard body. For opening the doors I like to cut them open using sewing thread....I know it sounds odd but once you get the hang of it you will be moving pretty quickly.

Thanks. Great build BTW. I think I will use the way you showed in the thread. I saw a thread on here about cutting hardbodies with thread and was going to give it a try.

check these out, shave off the three screw holes if needed. they allow the door to 'swing away' from the body a lil, kinda like hood hinges. check airplane stuff too, probably a fair amount of different hinge types
