| Proline 73' Bronco w/ CGR cage
Hello I am wondering if anybody has painted one of these yet? I am leaning towards a classic blue&white 2tone. I just cant seem to be able to find many of these bodies painted up. It is making me wonder why I don't see many of them? I am using the to replace the on my scx10 rubicon. Pro-Line 1973 Ford Bronco CGR Body 3310 for Rock Crawler |

After using the search, I discovered that I will be taking this body back to my LHS because it don't fit the SCX10 correctly. That is unless I was reading incorrectly that it does indeed fit and is not 1" to long in the wheel base? in the pics it looks to be on an AX10 chassis not the SCX10. If this is wrong let me know SOON please the hobby store opens soon.

i believe the body does fit the scx10 chassis, but you will need to have shorter links (atleast in the back). i am running the blazer body (i think they are same wheelbase) & that is what i ended up doing. hope this helps!! |

The proline bronco bodies (cgr and full body) are for the 12.3" wheelbase scx10's (honcho and jeep jk)

Well after trimming it out, I can see I'm going to need to trim some extra so the 1.9 Trepadors don't rub at full compression.

Does anybody know if the dingo fender flares will fit this proline 73 bronco body? I suspect I'll be cutting the molded fenders down I am just unsure if they fit the wheel well and look correct?

dingo flares work, but wait to cut the fenders down til you get them on (might trim off too much..) have you thought about the summit flares?

What about the whole summit body and eco cage? Does the wheelbase fit?

| Re: Proline 73' Bronco w/ CGR cage I highly doubt you could even ATTEMPT to put a Summit body on, as there is a 2 inch wheelbase difference. Perhaps with custom made links, but that's it. so in this instance, no. Be interesting to try though, great thought!

I built one for my GF. It was a while back, so I don't remember all it took to fit, but it wasn't too much. It started as a Honcho, so it had to be shortened. I cut the front links down from standard 98mm links and the backs are some Axial bent links I pulled off an AX10. |
