Default New project

Recently pickup up this abandoned project from a friend. Maybe all you Ford fans can give me some direction as to what the 1:1 is, and/or pictures.

Not too sure on the build details yet, but when I know, I'll start a build thread...

Ok I'm jealous now. Its exactly the rig I wanna build someday. It appears to me it was based after a 90s ford four door long box. I wanna build one to replicate the first true good power stroke 7.3 diesels. If you ever decide to get rid of that let me know. Or anyone known what bodies can be used to make one. I was think the old tamiya black foot bodies maybe.

Yip, they are King Blackfoot bodies. If you have any info on the real rig like this, please send it my way.

thats exactly what it is. they made the f250 in a crew cab (four door) as well and offered the truck in gas or diesel engines. my parents bought the one of the first f250 7.3 turboed diesel power strokes when they came out in 96. theirs was just an ext cab tho. i believe they were produced from 96-98 maybe and changed the body style to how the tamiya hilift ford f250s look and then again in 2005 then again in 2009 or 10 and now the 2013 but they only made them available with the true good 7.3 power stroke from 96-2004 then swithed to the crappy 6.0. then ford fell out on having a decent diesel truck.

Sweet yea I'd like to see how the front looks and the back. Wanna see if it looks more like the 90s fords or the 80s fords. I can't really find a decent picture of the Blackfoot bodies of the front to tell.
