Default Best way to back white paint on scx10

I'm painting a jeep body for my scx10 and want the white to be bright white. What should I back it with. The guy at the hobbie store said nothing but it doesn't seem right

I've used both silver n black as backers but would say silver is better as if the white was to thin in any area the black would shine thru and throw off the whole color scheme

I always back my white with silver and finish it off with black so there is no chance the black bleeding though.

I also look silver for back black but its bit chance to silver might change the shade of the white. gonna make sure for silver with light coat so less chance to bleed through.

The only time silver effects the white is if you do not have a thick enough layered on, I do not like light to show through my finished product. If you spray the body and hold it up to the light and it looks uneven then you still need to add paint. I paint several bodies and have done the same procedure with my whites with no problems or complaints.
