Yeah racing front/rear bumper: mini review.

I wanted to try a set of these....
Yeahracing - (#YA-0382) Front Rear Bumper w/ Heavy Duty Shackle w/ LED Set For Axial SCX10


Ordered on amazon, $30 shipped.


They are low quality plastic, worst than tamiya plastics. They would probably shatter after 1-2 runs.

The mounting mechanism is hoaky. The 'pegs' get glued into the bumper, then they're attached to the aluminum mounting plate with body clips. The mounting plate is then attached to the stock locations.

Both front/rear mounts are the same spacing(the 'rear' spaceing). They DO NOT work with the stock front bumper mount on my Rubicon kit. IDK if other SCX10 kits have 2 rear bumper mounts.

The round metal hoop was bent wrong, and would not sit flush with the bumper.

The metal hoops fit loosely in place with no way of securing them except glue.

Shackles are plastic




I had them for ~2hrs before they were packaged back up and shipped back to amazon.

Axial has 2 different chassis braces, with slightly different hole spacing (about 1/8"). The Rubicon was the first to get the new braces.

You can tell the difference by which ones have the extra little tabs for a sway bar mount and which ones do not.

I'm not surprised. $30 for 2 bumpers is really cheap.
