Default Lexan Clear coat?

I'm working on a Scaler project and I'm in need of a Clear coat that I can spray on the outside of the body. My plan is to paint the inside like metal panels and rust and paint the outside for the normal paint job. So when it does get hit and scratched the metal and rust will show through. I just need a clear to give the outside alittle more shine. I have heard they make a lexan clear, but I can't seem to find it. Thanks. I did find this, but it doesn't say anything about being able to spray on Lexan or being flexable!

Try Future floor polish. It dries nice sand shiny, it's somewhat flexible, and dirt cheap. Apply it with a spongs and let it self-level. Or shoot it with an airbrush and clean up with ammonia.

It works on Lexan. I've tried it.

Parma Fascoat is the stuff that dries clear, although the parma stuff dries to a matte finish when used on the outside.

So where can you buy this stuff at? Will Wal-Mart or Lowes have it?

Run,
Rustoleum and Krylon make a Paint for Plastics only. They make a gloss that works on plastics.

http://www.krylon.com/main/product_t...roduct_details

These should work..

Ok I have applied 2 coats of Future now. How long do I have to wait between coats? And how many should I need to apply?
