Nice tutorial. I might have to give this a try. My rig tends to need more than just wiping off after a good trail run. Is there anything you've found to back them with to increase the resistance to pealing?

Great question... And yes. I use E6000 (basically shoe Goop). I put a bead around the edges then work it with a stiff bristle paint brush or my finger. I try to just over the edge of the panel and about 1/4" in all around the panel. Also put goop around body holes or parts of the body that make contact with the chassis. Does a good job of protecting the graphic.

Great vid. You are thinking outside the box. I have been making water slide decals using my photos and artwork with photoshop for years to finish custom guitar bodies. Cool to see you using this in reverse. I'll have to give it a try with my Vaterra L5 truck. I'll post some pics when I do. Thanks again.

Hmm.. Are you doing internal or external decals?
The only issue I have had is sometimes the white paint comes off the decal but only after several hard impacts. But another coat of white fixes that.

One thing I started doing is wiping down the area I am apply the decal with alcohol before I apply it. Just to make its super clean. Got any pics of what's happening?

been trying to do internal ones. I dont have any pics but If i try and it happens again i will take some.

how fragile would you say the adhesive is? I think i might have damaged that when trying to apply it because it is always a corner or edge that lifts
