Default Pictures + Paint

I've had a little search but could not find anything to answer my question. If I have missed something could someone point me in the right direction.

Whilst waiting for my crawler to arrive I have been thinking about the paint scheme. It will be a pretty basic, 3 colour scheme but I want to set it off with a large graphic on the front bonnet. Masking something like that out is beyond my skills so I was thinking of printing out said graphic from the internet and gluing it to the body shell and then painting around it.

I can recall there was a company that, many years ago, sold a product for that very purpose. It would protect the graphic from the paint. Can anyone remember the name of that company or do they have an alternate suggestion?

Many thanks in advance for your information.

Has anyone had any experience with using XXX Main Picture Glue? I previously used it to glue pictures from magazines and things I printed on standard 80gsm A4 paper with a colour printer. However, in both cases the end result looked a little 'faded' for want of a better word.

What I would like to do is print out pictures on dedicated photo paper with a photo quality printer. Has anyone done this before and if so what were the result?

Thanks.
