Default Removing tape adhesive residue from clear lexan

My window and headlight masking left considerable residue. I searched for answers but since the thread I found is five years old I thought I would ask for current advice.

What should I use to remove the adhesive without damaging the clear lexan?

Thanks.

I usually use a little WD40, apply it with a papper towel or qtip and let it set for awhile. It should come off pretty easy.

While WD40 works well using GG it takes the adhesive of first pass and doesn't leave any WD40 liquid behind.

Also, Orange is my go to color and from what i can yours turned out great.

X2 one lexan body in the trash can attest to that.

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. I ended up using new masking tape and dabbing it on the residue until it lifted. I then used rubbing alcohol to clean up the lens.
Here's how it came out.
