Default Blazer body for a Spawn?

hey Guys, my buddy recently got a Axial Spawn. He dug my Wraith but I guess the Wraith isn't available anymore. Anyway, he digs the old style Chevy Blazers. Is there an aftermarket Chevy Blazer available for the Spawn?

I'm willing to open up wheel wells and stuff if need be, but not a total chop job. Need to paint from inside out.

Also, is the frame the same on the Wraith and Spawn? Can I use my Wraith to mock up the body fit or are they real different? He live cross country so I have no access to his and it is going to be a surprise anyway.

Thanks for any info and/links!

Chassis are exactly the same so you can mock it up on your wraith. A company called Dynamic Concepts made a blazer body for the wraith but they closed down so it may be hard to find one.

so any alternative solutions? I've fit larger bodies to my Stampede before with reasonable fits. Just need to mod the wheel well openings. Anything out there currently even remotely fit?

Nothing that won't require some creative cutting on your part.

I don't mind some creative cutting. I just want to be able to paint it from inside so I can't have seems or glue. Did you have one in mind?

There' like one and a half body for the Wraith. :(

By the way, it's called Axial Wraith Spawn... so, identical model, difference is panels/body.

Here's what I did. I didn't do the hood mod at first and it was a pain to do battery swaps. Then I did the hood mod and narrowed the front when I went to SCX10 axles.

RC4WD makes a hard-shell blazer body that looks pretty sweet. But, it's gonna cost ya!

The Hardbody WILL cost ya!!!

Given the rather long and wide dimensions of the Wraith, would he consider a Short Course Body, like what would fit a Slash?? There's a little variety of those, and that type would also require the least amount of trimming.

If he likes your Wraith, he can make or buy metal panels and make it look like yours, only cooler
