Default paint for drivers

Ive seen a couple people use a certain paint on their bomber type drivers (couldn't locate pic for example) that makes for a realistic look on the drivers race suits. Can someone please tell me what paint this is and if their is a process to it what does it take?

Do you have a photo example of what you're talking about? If not I'd only be guessing. But people sometimes paint on the outside of lexan, rather than the inside like normal, to get a matte finish.

X2

Probably using acrylics brushed onto the outside of the drivers, ie Tamiya acrylics, not lexan paint.

I have some Tamiya and Testors that I've used.
