| 80's suburban F/R difference in body width
I have a couple images with top down views, one is a line drawing showing the suburban front gradually getting narrower than the rear, and the other is a factory dimensional drawing showing it being pretty much constant width all the way up almost to the very front. Which is correct? I want to say the dimensional drawing (top) is correct, but Im having a hard time confirming it from pictures online. Last edited by JoeThePro; 01-21-2017 at 07:46 AM. |

Yeah - it's working fine... I searched a bit online for top-down views of Chevy/GMC Suburbans, no luck. However, I lean towards the taper - the angled shots I see seem to show one. I was looking at '84 models. The hood doesn't taper in at the sides, but at the creased line (on the silver part) and below - the body seems to taper to the front.
