| Window netting
Hi, I'm after painting a window safety net effect on a lexan shell, anyone done it or have any pointers. Cheers Jim |

Painting it on the inside would leave it looking glossy, so I'd do something on the outside using a matt/satin paint. Not sure how you would mask it to be honest because you're actually wanting to mask a lot of little squares rather than a net. Might be better to make something - depending on the scale you could use 1/8 or 1/4 black ribbon? I started doing something similar a while back for a 1:8 scale window net using a wire retainer around the edge and ribbon in a cris-cross pattern but got frustrated and stopped. | |

If you want to add netting instead of painting, I found this window netting on eBay. It is LEGO 10x10 netting. Super cheap and looks very scale. |
