Question Window netting

Hi,

I'm after painting a window safety net effect on a lexan shell, anyone done it or have any pointers.

On the outside or the inside?

Painting it on the inside would leave it looking glossy, so I'd do something on the outside using a matt/satin paint.
Not sure how you would mask it to be honest because you're actually wanting to mask a lot of little squares rather than a net.
Might be better to make something - depending on the scale you could use 1/8 or 1/4 black ribbon? I started doing something similar a while back for a 1:8 scale window net using a wire retainer around the edge and ribbon in a cris-cross pattern but got frustrated and stopped.

If you want to add netting instead of painting, I found this window netting on eBay. It is LEGO 10x10 netting. Super cheap and looks very scale.

I've used the mesh from produce bags in the past for window nets.
