I like the body but that back end is rough. I can’t help but thinking it looks like a Minecraft truck. Maybe someone can get creative with an insert from a bronco or some printed buckets or something.

I will say, Traxxas needs to step up their detail level on the accessory decals. They just look so one dimensional to me. Seems like with all the improvements in printers and rendering software, they could certainly come up with something more photo-realistic.

They look good on the licensed bodies like the Bronco. You have to remember the majority of RC owners still aren't scale nuts and they don't mind that they look like toys.

I get that Jato. But, seems they could offer "hop-up" decals for those of us who are more particular. I mean, they're stepping up their game on scale accessories for the Sport. Why bother with realistic scale accessories if the decals still make it look like a "toy"? Just seems logical to me.

I did see that they are releasing molded grill and light buckets. I think I may need to get one of these Sport Camper bodies and adorn it with the molded accessories. I'm very impressed with how much scale support Traxxas is developing and bringing for this little gem of a RIG! They are out-pacing the competition by leaps n bounds at this point IMHO. Thes molded parts don't appear to be stocked yet, but I'll be purchasing when available.

Those pieces definitely take it to the next level. I have to agree with you. Though I don’t own one, Traxxas is defininitely setting the pace in the crawler market. TRX owners are getting some sweet options both electronically/mechanically and aesthetically. To boot, gotta love the rate at which stuff is being released.

They do look sweet smog. I'm thinking I'll do the new Sport "Camper" body with all these nice little bells and whistles. I know it's not a true, licensed scaler body, but I think it can be made to look pretty damn cool!

The licensed bodies may very well be over rated. That sport body has Toyota all over it. It’s kind of a mash-up, but you could easily throw Toyota logos on it and they wouldn’t look out of place.

Admittedly I have a bit of a shell fetish( likely rooted in my boyhood infatuation I have with Trucks), but if i were you I would do one of these up.
