Body and cage

Hey yall, been tryin to do some research on a body for a scx10 ii im tryin to get a start of building for my father in law. Think im goina go with the PL 66 chevy with the detatched bed. But i wanna put a cage in it as well. Basically cut the center of bed out n put the cage in the bed n mount all 3 pieces together. My problem lies in that im not finding all the dimensions of the cages. The bed says its 202mm (7.94") long n 189mm (7.44") wide.

The vaterra ascender cage... The only demimsions i can find are 9 x 8.5 x 2.4 But im not sure if thats the cage size or package size.

The honcho cage... I have yet to find measurements for it.

Has anybody tryed puttin a cage thru the bed of this body?

Any help with measurements, advice, pics are much appreciated n i thank u in advance

I was just in the shop and took measurements of the Honcho cage.

7in wide.



6 3/4 in long


4 1/4 tall



1 3/4ish in deep



Fits 4 1/4 in tire laying down but bigger if you use the spare mount but I don't have one of them.
