| 50s Chevy pickup body source
Does anybody besides Parma make a 50s Chevy pickup body? I love the looks of it but it's too small for most crawlers. Tried looking all over including short course bodies with no luck. Thanks. Nick |

The Kyosho Mad Force Kruiser body has a '55-57 vibe to it, but not exactly spot-on: https://www.amainhobbies.com/kyosho-...mab201/p186670 The clear ones look to be getting hard to find: Clear Body Set (MAD FORCE KRUI |

Well that sucks. Was hoping for one a bit close to standard crawler size. Thanks.

Hey Mike Flea, I think he means the Axial SCX10 Kustom Retro, the first used SCX10 I bought was the Legacy Kustom Retro kit, and came with the 50's body and the Axial 1.9'' silver 8 hole bead lock rims with the green rings and 1.9'' Flat Irons tires, the body was beat and it rubbed a lot with the Flat Irons but I didn't trim it, I used it until I went to a 12.3'' wheelbase chassis and a Honcho Body, I still have the rims and tires, the body was around here.

Yeah, it's like 11.5" WB or something - got one from a friend that got it way back when. I'll have to shorten a chassis to fit it, and paint the outside since it got enameled on the inside and it's all flaking off. You might find one on ebay or the used parts source. Definitely would be nice if proline came out with a few more odd things, older trucks, dodges, etc. |

I wish they would make more of them. There's a slightly larger one for the t-maxx that's long since discontinued. The one for the stampede looks good but it's way too small. There's a new axial one on eBay for 90 bucks but my cheap ass doesn't want to spend that much.

Sorry to but-in but this thread's subject is what I was researching this morning; vintage era / 1930s thru 1950s truck bodies in 1/10 scale . Not a lot of options for this rookie to find .. I can't believe there's not any 1:10 scale WWII or WWI truck bodies or old Model A or mid-30s Ford coupe bodies to buy. My only semi-gripe about my Vaterra Ascender WB2 is there's not many body options that haven't been exhaustively used ... no sources that I'm missing? |
