Default Pics of my the new body

Just finished painting a Nissan Titan body for my SW2/TLT. Had to trim little more than I wanted to cause of the articulation but I'm pleased overall. The body color is Tamaya gun metal and just used quick drying Krylon glossy black for the windows, also installed some l.e.d.'s for headlights.

Wow..you really chopped that thing up, but it looks good. I like the gunmetal, that's what I'm painting my C-10 scaler i'm working on.

Looks great!! I plan to get one of those titan bodies...I just like the front grill as I'm a new generation Xterra owner (same looking front end). Sure wish someone made an Xterra body so the titan will have to fulfill my Nissan fix

Also love the color. Of all the LHS's, I only see the same lineup of Pactra paint. All the same ole stuff. I may have to break down and mailorder something like that gunmetal grey.

BTW, I'd have liked to see more of the bed in yours too but I know how you feel about hacking up th the bodies. My SW2 always causes me to hack 'em up too. Looks great! I'm a big fan of the simple paint jobs and yours looks terrific.

Here's some pics of how the l.e.d.'s are mounted. I went to radioshack and picked out the ones with the highest rated lumines (1200 candle power) soldered them up and attached them to a hitec female plug and installed into the battery slot on the reciever and the lights into the drilled out holes in the body and angled them down a bit before the superglue was applied. Ensure though that the l.e.d.'s are rated for 7 volts or higher or they will just burn out. I haven't noticed any effect on run times. Here's the pics...

just a little bit of trimming i see . there isnt much of the bed left, maybe you could try to build a truggy bed for it. i think that it would look pretty good.

Minor trimming huh? Half the thing is gone! Pretty badass though, it really looks sweet in those dark pictures with them lights.
