90% of the bushwackers and even the original FJ40 had this "run" Nothing wrong with it.

What I have been having problems with prolines bodies is that there are a ton of very very small air bubbles in the lexan :-(

I'm glad somebody brought this up.

I just finished painting mine (Red) and I always use a hair dryer between layers.

I saw that spot and thought maybe i had warped or melted it!

This body seemed pretty tough for me to paint.

Getting that roofline right was tough...I didn't get it!

Trust me thats the hardest part, and it seems like everyone I paint the person wants a different color roof lol. O well I finally got it down...

Yup, I painted up one last night for my wifes truck. A candy Burgundy over a white base with a white roof. The roof was a pain to mask, but it turned out well.

im waiting for one of those bodies from ebay right now ,just picked up my yellow and white paint for it.i was planning on using liquid mask on the roof instead of taping it off.i had a 72 landcruiser when i was a teenager so i was pretty excited when i saw these bodies.does it come with the toyota stickers ??

The liquid mask may be easier than trying to tape it. I really should buy some.

The reason it's a Bushwacker and not a Landcruiser are some sort of copyright issues...so No Toyota stickers! Your grill will have PL on it.

One of my rubi bodies has a small run in it also. You can't tell though if your not looking for it.

Post Body runs are normal on this kind of bodies...

Hi, the body starts as a plane layer of lexan. When it is sucked in the mould the lexan "crumbles up" like if you try to wrap a piece of paper around a corner. So there is no cure for it, it is just because of the box shaped body lines...
