Default My 'Yota hard body

this is the body i will be using for my 1.9 build. it was really rough when i got it. i didn't do too much to prep it before painting it, just fixed the cracks and so forth. this rig will be driven hard! it was going to be flat black, but that is too easy(i love flat black). i modeled the paint job after the so-cal speed shop roadster. i have always liked that paint work. i didn't want to have the bright red and white paint. while staying true to my flat black roots, i used flat dark red primer and flat ivory. after i sprayed the base colors, i broke out my trusty pinstriping brushes and one shot enamels. i used my mack lettering brushes for the 'so-cal' logo, and my mack 'virus' striper for the black pinstripe that divides the two colors. so now i wait for the tube goodness from boyer! more pics to come!
