Default Need ideas on doing flames 1st paint job

OK this will be my first paint job and I am trying to figure out how to do flames on the front of my body. Do I just mask the flames up front, spray the main coat then unmask the flames and spray the flame color? Also where can I get some flame mask?

I've posted some paint mask templates that you can trace on the top of the lid, mask the under side with masking tape and cut it out. Pretty simple I'm sure you can do it.
Paint Mask Thread.

To do "Ghost Flames" you will have to use an airbrush. There is a couple of ways that I have done it. First if you mix your origanal paint color with some white to lighten it up it will stand out from your origanal paint color. Secondly you will just use a fine-tip in the airbrush and after you pull your masks off just go around the broders with a grey or white and then fill in the middle with your main body color. I am sure that this is clear as mud but I will take some pics of the bodies that I have done to give you an idea.

Dark colors first, then light colors.
Unless you back them with silver first then it doesn't matter.
