Default '43 Dodge WC-51 Body

Yup im building a WC-51 body for my rusty.

it might not be the most scale thing with the 2.2 tires but itll be unique


Depending on how much time i have tonight ill start working on it and get pics posted tomorow

theres no one responding............................doesnt anyone like Military vehicles? or is it the fact that its on a Rusty?? aw well i guess ill keep posting to atleast bump this thread for a while

Talking i see ive sparked intrest

well the cardboard sagged WAY to much to use as a decient pattern for the styrene so im drawing up plans to scale


oh and does anyone know of a glue that will glue ANY PLASTIC as solid as a weld to metal?

Depends on the type of plastic. For styrene any model cement for plastic models will work. I like the brush on liquid type as it's less messy.

I saw your thread about this at the Ultimate RC forums. Go for it, it looks very nice. I have this crazy idea of hooking up an old Monster Beetle body to my Rusty:





The only problem is one flip and goodbye cool vintage body! LOL!

i never wil use a vintage body for somthing.......so i build my own

so far ive got half the plans drawn up now i need to work on the other half
