Here is the deal. There is a guard/attendant at the gate that issues parking and camping permits. I Prepaid for Friday/Saturday over nite site usage through the parks and rec dept. I am going to assume that any other days it will be business as usual. First come first served.

To all drivers:
Based on talking with the county officials I would not assume drivers can pay $2 to park and be able to throw your EZ-Up any where. (Working out the back of your truck/car/suv is probably ok) They seem to have very specific fees for very specific park area usage.

If it were me I would make sure I either reserved a site or got with a group renting a site. Plan on setting up your pit in that area and park in a near by spot.

The general answer is YES....

... but it sounds like donzx12 (Site #18) has you covered. I have also reserved a space that the Judges (Site #7) can use to pit, eat lunch or just chill out.

I didn't know there was a code. I just called the nice lady and reserved the rooms. She quoted $99 per night (single king) with AAA discount. When I get there I'll use the code if it saves me $.

Sorry I can't be of any help at all.

My thoughts go out to the firefighters and their families and friends. Very tragic.

booked 3 rooms about a week ago, they'd never heard of a group rate for Usrcca.

Huh, well I went to their site and it was only $90 per night anyway for a single king and one of their promotions. $360 before tax, $400 after. Not horrible.
