I live in phoenix and have been flashed twice in 7 years. I threw the tickets away for 3 months and then one day a kid on a bicycle shows up at my door while i was doing yard work. He asked for me. I asked what it was concerning. He wouldnt say. I thought he may be there to serve me those camera tickets so I told him I wasnt home, so he left. That was 4 years ago and havent heard another thing about those tickets

As far as I know, the photo tickets are not a criminal offense. A private company handles those....has nothing to do with law enforcement. That's why they were removed from the Houston area.

Because the companies that own the cameras (the companies responsible for collecting the fee) have a contract with certain counties and those counties don't have the ability to enforce that "fine" (again, not a traffic violation) on non-residents. At least, that was the case with the red light cameras that were around here...

I didn't pay a CA ticket cause i live in AZ, they notified my DMV and they took my licence away, I had to pay an extra 300 bucks on top of the ticket to get it back. fawkers

Palmer investigations is who runs the cameras here in prescott, although they are a private company they are in bed with the PD and they all have the ability to stick you with tickets that you will have to pay or they notify the DMV. I know many of my friends that get pulled over and find out they have no licence because they tossed a camera ticket and forgot about it.

Although all of our roads look like highways it is very rare that is above 45 if there are houses or in your case schools around.

Know that cops here look for the CA plate, and it's probably worth it to go UNDER the speed limit.

Also, there are three light cameras in PV on on the highway coming in from phoenix, another on the same highway leaving PV and one by the two schools on glassford hill, on top of that there are about 5 camera vans that they park in tricky areas , (behind bushes, at the bottom of hills, where the limit changes) on top of that we have cops that give out DUIs like candy and love to pull anyone over for a licence plate light, cracked windows, or whatever else they decide.
