Well just glad you are going to make the trip. Wish Tyler could have made it but there is always next year.

The only thing that will change me getting to show is if my local club schedules a event for the same date then I will have to go run it for points.

Well guys I have about had it for the day. A full day at work and then everything with getting this rolling jammed in between every free second at my real job... I am totally beat.

Greg at Axial has verbally committed Axial to becoming our Title Sponsor, but we still have some things to wrap up like figuring out if Brad will make it out and wrap up some paperwork.

Looks like this event will become the:
Axial 2.2 Midwest Indoor Crawler Challenge (don't tell anyone)
with Platinum Course Sponsors from Hitec, Tekin, MaxAmps, and of course Axial.
We also have some great Gold sponsors who will be providing course and event cost support as well. I'll get a neat and tidy list next week.
Silver sponsors will be providing product for those great raffles we all love during the event - again a list to follow.

The KCRC and NSCA teams are working hard together to plan and pull off a stellar event and Gerame's shop will be taken over with a herd of people this weekend to start building some of the parts and pieces. We have lots of work that needs to be done to best last year's event.

Looks like we have 37 entries left... unbelievable... I feel like we are hosting a rock concert here with the band everyone wants to see. In that case I guess I will be the opening overweight middle age washed up band that everyone has to listen to before the real attraction begins.... I appreciate your patience.

Me? Yes I'm in and will be yes... my first comp. I AM a crawler comp virgin. That said, most of you know I am more or less sponsored and I know everyone will heckle me endlessly if I compete in the Amateur class with my Axial SPV2 chassis rig with Holmes Puller, Tekin, and Hitec electrics with my DNA dig, riding on Eritex beadlocks and ProLines, so I have jumped in the frey with the Pros.

Wish me luck. My biggest worry is the guy behind me will get so pissed off waiting for me to point out on every course, that he will off me in between courses just so he doesn't have to watch the agoney all day.

Maybe I could hire a good driver like Brad or Austin...I hear they do that in NASCAR.

Hope everyone gets an entry that wants one. Have a great evening... I am headed to bed.

Default 36 Entries Left

Well looks like we made it through the initial rush and still have 36 spots available which is good. I have talked to quite a few people who are still trying to get money and travel plans coordinated for the event.

A note to the Amateurs in the group. I think everyone here would highly encourage you to compete. This should stack up to a Nationals level event as far as organization and course difficulty and give you some great experience on what to expect from some of the hardest courses you will face. Most likely you won't finish... few overall probably will, but more importantly this is a phenomenal opportunity to watch and learn how the stunningly awesome drivers pull of the maneuvers they do and how people tune and set up real competition rigs.

You will have to look through the EventBrite attendee list.

http://2009midwestchallange.eventbrite.com/

page down and it shows all the attendees.

Yes, all the rules are the same (mainly). You will just be judged against people closer to your skill level
