Default AWCCS Qualifier #2 Results

The Axial West Coast Championship Series Qualifier #2 took place in Farmington, New Mexico with the help of 4cRc2. I can not thank the group of dedicated crawlers from 4cRc2, enough. Dwayne, Cody, Raven, Rob, Jason, and the rest of this great club were incredible assets to the success of Q-2. Thank you all again, I am proud of you all and you should be proud of your self’s for a job well done.

The comp location was SICK! The only thing hotter than the comp location was the drivers. Crawlorado was represented with force. The best drivers from Arizona were on hand. Mix that up with some nationally ranked drivers and we have an explosive blend of competition.

Saturday treated drivers with 5 courses. These courses blended madness with the harsh reality of "oh my" and a large dose of "DO WORK"! C-1 drove drivers into the depths of the Mad Professors mental insanity with the "Silly Start" and "Commitment with a Curse". C-2 cut pro drivers in half with "Gillette’s Edge"; while C-3 treat drivers to "Sled Hill". C-4 and C-5 pushed drivers into the realm of crawler see, crawler do.

Trusting your line and traction were hard to find, but for those drivers that knew their crawler, the podium was their destination.

Thank yous go out to all the following for their efforts and hard work in making the Axial West Coast Championship Series Qualifier #2 successful:

AXAIL Racing, 4cRc2, VP, BLM (Leslie Lynn), RECON's Stuart Gartner, the Judges, the Volunteers, Three Rivers Brewery, Road Runner Hobbies, Fast lane Hobbies, and last, but not least, I want to thank all the Drivers that attended.

Here are your AWCCS Q-2 results:

Great event Parker thanks for all the work you and the crew put into it. Those NM boys are great hosts.

I think you missed the results for Pro on your post above.

Thanks again

I almost forgot, the scaler run was set up by one of the O.G.s himself, Bender! If you have never understood the scaler nation, pull the trigger on an Axial SCX 10 or Honcho and you will. I have been bitten by the scaler bug and can't get enough.

Bender set up, what had to be a 57 mile, (scale), trail run that encompassed the whole comp area and them some. Some of the sickest scale rigs based on the Axial Honcho took part in this adventure and when rigs got back to Base Camp, they had driven in snow, mud, across vast rock mazes, and yet some how survived. Those that got stuck, hooked to sparky's Pull Pal or they got a simple strap from Bender or they just fell 400 ft, (scale) to dirt!

Great Job, Bender. The Axial Scale Nation followed you thru some of Farmington's hardest terrain and lived to brag about it.
