2012 LCQ Judges Pool

The LCQ will take place on Thursday September 6, 2012 (a few days before Nationals).

I NEED at least 10 QUALIFIED JUDGES.

I will need a copy of your USRCCA rules test...USRCCA Rules Test

Judges will buy their pre-sale ticket at a discounted price. I will then reimburse your ticket after the comp. If you just want to help with judging and choose not to drive in the LCQ, that is fine.

We will take breaks. If we have to close down courses to give judges breaks, I will do so. I'm thinking a lunch break will give the judges opportunity to take a breather/eat/drive.

Judges are allowed to hold National Invites. If you place in the top 3, you WILL NOT receive an additional Invite.

***Judges cannot be a 2.2 Pro Nationals Judge***

Without judges, the LCQ will NOT take place.

I'd be interested in running and judging, but this being on a Thursday is making it tough. I understand there isn't really any other time to do this, but I'm not sure I can take off three days of work to come.

So I was thinking about moving the date AND/OR location of the LCQ. Would that help people who cannot stay Thursday-Sunday for LCQ/Nationals? Please post up. If it will make it easier for judges to get off work/plan, I will move the date/location. We still can have it at Sand Rock or I can find another location.

In the 3 year history of the LCQ getting drivers to attend a 4 day event has not been a problem.

Yeah some drivers can't be off 4 days in a row, but far more will not be able to travel TWICE across country.

How many are you letting into the LCQ? I.E. How long will the day be? I'll help you out if I can by judging for you Chickles. If I State Qualify, I'd still do it, but if I don't State Qualify, I'd like to compete too.

I must first make sure I can get the extra day... so you cool wit dat? Pencil me in and I'll let you know for sure very soon.

The number of drivers all depend on the number of judges. <10 judges will limit the number of drivers allowed. The day won't be too long. Planning on 4 courses, NO final. It would be great to have you on board as a judge . Thanks Harvo.

Even though I can't judge, I may be able to help out with staff duties. Time off from work is no problem, but let me talk to the Mrs. about coming down and bringing my girls Friday evening, so I'm not away from them for 4 days.
