Default philly area hobby shops

going to philly in mid march for work looks to be in north eastern philly up off the 63 and the 95. any suggestions on shops to check out while i am there

well i usually go to hobby town usa in westchester or hobby hut in trooper, they are both about 25 to 30 min outside of philly......hobby hut is geared towards planes and nitro 1/8 scale(they have a track) and hobby town is general rc, i used to work for them, gary the owner is a really nice guy. not sure if these are going to help your search though...good luck.

hobbytown above Reading and Iron Horse hobby in Reading. I find that most hobby shops in the area cater to go fast stuff.

The Philadelphia area is a dead zone for good hobby shops, little or no support for crawling.

yeah agreed on the go fast stuff, they do sell some crawlers, ax10, mrc, but not much else.

Hobbytown in reading can do the crawling stuff he just doesn't have the demand to stock tons of it. If you go in find Brad he knows what he is talking about and will square you away with whatever you need.

any crawler shops closer to Center City/Manayunk?
