Just dropping in to say Hey. I am Wayne and live in Carlisle. I am getting in to RC crawling pretty seriously now. It's a bit cheaper then my 1to1. Anyhow I am planning to put a stick together in the next few weeks and you will most likely see me playing on the rocks soon. My neighbor is into it pretty much too. He has a Clod axled crawler and that is what got me hooked. After 1 1/18th and 3 1/6th Nylints it's time to make the jump to something more serious. Hope to see you soon.

Welcome Mighty Mouse. Head over to www.teamsvsc.com and hook up with those guys. They are a great crew. I am from Pittsburgh area and we will be having GTG in the summer with them.

Enjoy the hobby. This forum is a great avenue for information and product.

Hope to meet you someday.

John

I am guessing Metal Masher is Blake. My neighbor is getting pretty serious with RC Crawling and kinda got me into it more then I already was. If your up to it I might have some air brush work for you.

ok so I already made my plans to come out to your comp on the 18th,just need a little advice on my current setup.I am running 2.2 rig,you can see what I'm running at rccrawler, heres a link first build pics,sw2.advice,comments?
currently the wheelbase is 13.3 inchs with 4 wheel steering, would I be better leaving it like that for the 2.2 unlimited class or shortening it to the required 12.5 inchs and removing the rear steer for the 2.2 class?? would a sw2 like mine be under equiped for the 2.2 unlimitd class or no?any help would be great, and since its your comp(svsc) I figured you could help me out.I just don't want to drive 2+ hours to find out I have a bad set-up. thanks in advance for any info, and can't wait to hit the rocks Rob

this is a reprint of my post on the svsc site

hey man that sounds like a very solid setup for the park in the 2.2 unlimited class.... plus i think there is only gonna be 3 of them at this point so you should do really well.
come check us out at teamsvsc.com we have some forums with a bunch of local set up tech.

i just remembered. theres a dam down in holtwood near muddyrun park.
and one side is water (obviously lol) the middle is road and its rare anyone drives on it cause it goes to basiacly no were then the other side is a sheer wall not too steep (enough you wouldnt have any problems walking it) and the whole think is about4 -500 ft tall from the ground and about a mile long.. and it looks like this

Hey what's up guys how ya been? We had our first GTG yesterday. Had a pretty good turn out. We're gonna be called WPAC. I'ld like to make it out to your comp this coming weekend, but don't know if I'll be able to. Maybe later in the season. Well just wanted to pop in and say what's up. I'll be talkin to ya guys, later.
