gotta love ups, thats one of the reasons I started getting everything sent to work. keith, do you have a tracking# or something. you should be able to call 1(800)pick-ups w/ the tracking# or if they left you a door sticker, there should be a number on there as well, and tell them to hold it at the depot for pick up. most of the depots have some saturday hours. |

I'm gonna try to stop up. I'd like to try out all of the changes to the truck and get the final trim on my body done.

I've actually had more problems w/ fedex than ups, still its a pain in the *** to have to go thru all this crap every time you need something shipped to you. here's a good example of fedex for you guys: they wouldn't drop a twenty dollar hat off w/o a signature, but a couple of months prior they dropped off a package from tower hobbies w/ about $250.00 worth of electronics in it on the back porch. the best part of the last one was I tracked the package and it said that it was signed for by O. Grille? I found the box on the back porch under a grill that I don't even own.

i dont think it really matters who you shipp with, sooner or later you'll have a prob with any of them. ups did get me a couple of free bodies from tower after delivering flat ones to me! the worst for me though is ups mis-deliveries, they can tell me the wrong address it was delivered to, and see it was sent to the wrong one but yet they have to do an investigation. whats to investigate? you see and know its at the wrong address, just send the driver over! the 2 times it happened though both were close to me and i just went and got em myself. rocjoc - what auto show are you going to? |

MsDirtDiva, How are you!!!! The only downfall of USPS is that it is not a tracking number...it is a Delivery Confirmation Number. It is only updated when something changes, such as delivered. Really all you can do with it is use it if it gets lost. It also insures that it was shipped. UPS is the only one that offers Tracking Numbers. Sorry, John |
