Default Junk it or keep it?

Ok ladies and gentlemen.....I got an original PTI Goliath in a trade with a buddie. Not sure what to do with it if anything? It seems ok for tooling around, but I like this crawler thing. I have a WK that is converted to a trail rig, Axial AX-10, and just bought a Cliff Climber! Is it worth putting money into the PTI, or should I just leave it stock?

Depends... Is it worth it to you to have a PTI? You can probably still find a PTI at a comp, the axles can be beefed up and shimmed to last. It is going to take a little more work & money to set the axles up with metal diff gears or spools but it can be done. Why not make a trail rig out of it, the axles are narrower than TLT's, and with a little work the axles can be made strong enough for trail use.

Thats what I was thinking too. Trail rig takes less time and money! Any recommendations for axle parts?

tc3/4 parts almost all fit in, so its easy to get parts @ the LHS. They work great for 1.9 sclaer axles, very compact design and if treated right they will hold out longer than most think.
