Has anyone ever been part of a group or club that has defined rules for their rally track? I am thinking along the lines of what the Tamiya TCS rulea are... I tried to view them recently, but the section for "Rally" is gone. Just wondering so I could build to a set spec even I don't have a local club to race with. Thanks, Chris |

Try Google translate this: https://mcrrcrally.cz/pravidla There are couple other championships I know of in Czechia, each with its own rules, but the difference between them isn't that huge, so I won't list them all. |

I thought Turtle listed some of the Colorado Rally groups rules on a thread in here before. I looked after I saw your post but could not find it, maybe if you PMed him he could repost it again. I would also like to see them, as I forgot most of what he posted. Turtle????

Looks like the electronics and platform options are pretty well wide open...

Pretty much, as the specific track profile means, that sophisticated electronics (which you can buy) won't give you pretty much any advantage. I can think of electronics that might give you tons of advantage, but that would require so much custom development that it is probably not realistic to implement this (as an individual). Some forward thinking manufacturer of course could, but the problem is, that all the anti-electronics regulation on main events makes it not worth the effort. This is really sad, as my feeling is that all the development in RC cars is pretty much stuck right now because of it. |

| Re: Rally Rules No, unfortunately there isn't. As far as I know, none of the championships here maintains english version of the rules. But I've checked first few paragraphs of the google translated page and it seemed OK. If there's something that doesn't make sense, I can translate it for you...

Open with Google Chrome - it should give you a pop-up asking if you want a translation... Edit: You MAY need to download Google Translate as well - it's a cool add-on . Last edited by durok; 08-20-2017 at 01:14 PM. |
