i have full confidence in the berg axles holding up to bigger tires .. bergs are bulletproof once you swap out the stubs .

I've had no issues with my berg super so far, I haven't even changed the stubs, I've been waiting for a reason but I have a set ready.

We will see!

I think that when the result's are posted there should be a star next to all buy-in's...then we will know who's worthy and who's club I need to compete in next year...lol.

I certainly hope you don't get beat by any buy-ins.

I would have to agree with Griz and H3 on this.

Example:

Pup and Rockcrawler can drive, but both are geographically challenged. Rockcrawler lives in the same state with Gatekeeper and RxCrawler (Last years 2.2 & Super Class National Champs). Pup's in 2nd in his home state club, but it isn't recognized by USRCCA yet.

No matter what guidelines we come up with some GOOD divers will fall through the cracks. Buy-In's is that second chance.

Also as an event planner I understand that these events run on a budget, need to be sold out to make the $$$ work. Jason didn't necessarily SAVE slots for Buy-INs. Most are slots that didn't get used by those that "deserve" to be at Nationals. Maybe should have volunteered to pick up the $1,725 short fall, and then we could have kept those losers out.

I'd have to agree. There are a lot of great drivers here in Colorado, that could beat me on any given day. The guys that qualified for nats through their local club are the most consistent in the area they are in. Because they won/placed high in their qualifying series. But, nats is a one day comp that's up for grabs to whoever is the best driver on that day.

I totally agree, there are at least 10-15 drivers in Utah that could win any comp and it wouldn't surprize anyone if they did. Its crazy competetive. And for those who earned their way in, step up and show that you deserve to be there instead of whining that someone else doesn't.

Yo! I was watching this post to see how fast it filled up and I noticed the ticket service you use charges. I posted this before.. but If you set up a free account on R/C sign up.com, you can post events for free with no surcharge on either end. Racers can create a profile that holds all their crawlers info (manufacturers, class, etc). Makes sign up real easy and I got the owner to add many different types of crawlers to the manu. list. They will add any that are not in.

here is my profile.
http://racers.rcsignup.com/267/
You can see my super crawler profile on the right.

I have nothing to gain from this besides friends to add to my list .
Please dont take it as a spam... I think this site has something to offer both promoters and racers/drivers..

Hope it helps!

I have used Eventbrite, and was very happy. However since this it free I will try it locally, and give feedback....in another thread

Eventbrite is well worth the surcharge with all the different reports you can run against the data collected from the competitors.

That site looks good though, like Fish said, we'll have to test it on smaller events to see how good it is.
