Default Beetlejuice Bully Build

Well, since I won a Beetlejuice chassis from Krawlfreak at Y-Town Crawlers on this website, I decided to build it up with a set of Bully axles from RC4WD.

Specs:
Beetlejuice Bodiless Chassis
Bully Axles
Losi Crawler Shocks
Slash springs
KK Bent Delrin Lowers
35T Fantom Motors
CC Mamba Max
PunkRC Dig Switch
3S Lipo
Eritex Beadlocks with Panthers
Bowtie Rear Battery Plate

Yeah, right now I am waiting on the rear axle. I sent it to Bowtie so he can finalize measurements for a rear battery plate.

I've got my KK High Clearance links in and Fantom Racing 35T motors installed.

Right now, there's just not much to snap a picture of without the rear end...

Ok it's mostly finished....here are some pictures!

Only a few things left and this truck will be ready for the comps:

1) Side Panels
2) Stainless sleeves for steering links
3) Install droop limiters in shocks

I ran this on my backyard course this afternoon and it seemed to do quite well. Here are a few pics:

I plan to get this out to my local testing spot sometime this week for a full run!

Those are Jato Pushrods (112mm) for the uppers. Yeah, I used about 1/2" of fuel tubing around the shock shaft to limit the droop. I used a bit less tubing in the fronts.

That rig isn't going to work. It doesn't have any DNA parts on it.

Regardless it looks good bud. You have done a nice job bolting everything together.

Fawker Actually, it really was a bolt together project. There are just too many parts for sale these days....

We'll see if it works tonight...I'll be heading out to my local testing spot!

Not really. These Bully axles are pretty damn heavy which keeps it planted. Regardless, I'd like to lower it down about 1/4" for better rollovers...
